Gluten Free Pasta

Gluten is what gives regular pasta its firm texture. Gluten free pasta does not have this key component so is more delicate and needs to be treated carefully when cooking. By taking on board these simple tips, make perfect gluten free pasta every time:
  • Use plenty of water.
  • Salt the water to bring out the flavour in the pasta.
  • Stir the pasta when you first put it into the pan and occasionally during cooking to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  • Do not overcook! We recommend cooking the pasta for 6 minutes but this may vary so keep testing your pasta from 4 minutes onwards. It is ready when the pasta is soft on the outside but still slightly firm on the inside.
  • Do not rinse after cooking and draining, instead toss through a little bit of olive oil to prevent the pasta from sticking together.
